The Milan office

Our work

Typical projects

The team in the Milan office works on projects related to transaction support, regulation and policy and strategy and transformation. This allows staff to become well-rounded employees that are valuable resources for the company and are sought after to deliver different types of assignments for other offices as well. For example, junior staff can be sent to other offices for specific projects; this provides a great opportunity to work with other colleagues and see how projects are managed in other offices.

Office head intro - Milan

I currently head Analysys Mason's activities in southern Europe (we have offices in Madrid, Milan and Paris) and Latin America.

I specialise in due diligence and regulation of fixed and wireless networks. I have more than 25 years of experience in the telecoms industry and have worked with regulators, operators and investors worldwide. I have recently advised operators and regulators in several countries on the economics of access products, on wholesale fixed and mobile origination and termination, on competition issues and on spectrum matters. I have also acted as an expert witness in several international cases. Prior to joining Analysys Mason, I spent several years working in the spectrum management department at Inmarsat (a satellite operator in the UK). I hold an MSc in telecommunications engineering, an MSc in aerospace telecommunications systems and an MBA.

I am an Associate Consultant in the Milan office, where I have been working since September 2022. I hold a Double MSc in Management Engineering and Service Design and a BSc in Industrial Engineering, both from the Polytechnic of Milan. Since I started with the company, I’ve been involved in different projects about a range of topics in the TMT sector. My journey has just started, but I can’t wait to learn more!

Culture and benefits

Culture

Culture

The hierarchical structure in Analysys Mason’s Milan office is less rigid than in other consulting firms: staff members (including senior staff) work in an open space, and everybody is easily approachable and ready to provide insights and opinions. The atmosphere in the office is always positive and collaborative; when somebody has a question, he/she just needs to ask.

Dedicated meeting rooms are available for both client and internal meetings to avoid disturbing colleagues in the open space.

We typically have lunch together in one of the restaurants around the office; this a great way to bond and discuss topics that are not strictly related to work.
