AI is at the forefront of the investor community’s growth agenda. The technology is backed by development capital and transactions are taking place to fund or acquire talent. Our role is to cut through the noise to assess its potential to create revenues and optimise efficiency.
Charles Murray is a Partner in our London office, and leads Analysys Mason’s transaction support practice. He is an acknowledged expert in transaction support, having advised on some of the largest telecoms, media and technology deals around the world. Charles specialises in digital infrastructure and mobile operator strategy, including network sharing, enterprise and IoT.
His engineering degree gave Charles a desire to understand technical detail in all its complexity, as well as an appetite to explore cutting-edge technology, including AI. He combines this technical background with a broader view of commercial insight to guide investors and operators through complex financial issues and due diligence on both buy and sell side of deals. This gives greater depth to technology discussions and gives Charles the insight to see through the hyperbole to likely future values, advising his clients on how best to proceed.
His recent work includes some high-profile financial transactions in telecoms towers sales, the carve-out of mobile networks and fibre projects.
Charles has a great love for the outdoors, often participating in adventure racing, exploring and wild camping in some of the world’s most inhospitable areas.
