James Kirby is a member of the Networks research team based in Analysys Mason's London office. He manages the Wireless Technologies programme and leads research across key topic areas such as RAN, Open RAN/vRAN, 5G/4G/3G, core networks, 5G standalone (SA), spectrum and antenna technology.
James holds a BSc (Hons) in Business with Economics and has experience researching across a range of industries including telecoms, IT, AV, enterprise technology, media and consumer electronics. Throughout his career in research and consulting, James has delivered on a wide range of projects, supporting clients with strategic transformation, new product introduction, market investigation and financial and M&A activity.
