Sameer is a Principal at Analysys Mason, serving clients across the Middle East and South Asia. He has over 14 years' experience in providing strategy consulting and investment advisory services to large corporations and investors across the telecoms, media and technology (TMT) and digital services industries.
In the TMT industry, his key areas of expertise include business planning, growth strategy, data pricing, spectrum valuation, active and passive infrastructure sharing, and due diligence (as part of mergers and acquisitions). He also has significant experience in the e-commerce space, having assisted numerous clients with market assessment, business planning and due diligence assignments. Furthermore, having worked with large mobile operators, fixed broadband providers, towercos, equipment vendors and financial institutions across Asia and the Middle East (in both developed and developing markets), he brings a global perspective on key industry issues and trends.
Prior to joining Analysys Mason, Sameer was part of the Strategy & Operations team at Deloitte Consulting. In this role, he assisted a number of clients in India and the USA in developing business plans and go-to-market strategies. Sameer holds a bachelor's degree from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay, India.
