Gulf-based operators should improve their 5G FWA tariffs to compete more effectively with FTTP players

The Gulf region has a buoyant 5G fixed-wireless access (FWA) market. However, operators in the region will find it challenging to compete in areas already covered by fibre, even though 5G FWA is a significant upgrade for 4G FWA subscribers.
In this article, we review the current residential 5G FWA tariffs in the region, analyse how operators have positioned their FWA plans against alternative broadband offerings and discuss how operators can compete more effectively.
