"Fixed broadband retail revenue in emerging Asia–Pacific will increase at a CAGR of 2.4% during 2024–2029, as a result of network investment and higher service take-up."

Fixed operators in emerging Asia–Pacific (EMAP) are intensively investing in fibre infrastructure, migrating customers from DSL/cable to fibre and offering affordable services to satisfy the high demand for gigabit-capable connections. In countries where fixed broadband penetration is high, operators maintain revenue growth by upselling premium fibre services bundled with additional services.

The take-up of fixed-wireless access (FWA) services on 5G and satellite broadband will grow rapidly in a few EMAP countries, but this will have a limited impact on the regional market.
