HAS 2024: AI innovation and evidence of network monetisation brought Huawei’s vision to life
Analysys Mason’s wireless networks team attended the RAN and mobile core networks sessions at the Huawei Analyst Summit (HAS) 2024 in Shenzhen. The main theme of the event was ‘thrive with intelligence’ and Huawei used AI as a central topic to underpin its strategy and vision across a range of markets, including telecoms, cloud, smart devices, energy and automotive. However, from a mobile networks perspective it was stories of monetisation and new use cases that proved to be most interesting. Huawei is supporting operators, particularly in China, in building 5G networks that can enable innovative methods of monetisation.
