Iliad has been one of the most significant disruptive players in the European telecoms market over the last 10 years. However, the main thrust of its strategy is similar to that of other large European operators; a mix of fixed and mobile services, with a growing emphasis on business services.
Iliad does have some important differences though; it is innovating in technology and in content bundles, and has invested heavily in AI (at least, compared to other telecoms operators). This article explores Iliad’s strategy, its potential limitations and what other operators can learn from it. It is part of our research into the future of the service provider.
