Optus’s Living Network concept could be a model for driving engagement and boosting subscriber numbers
Optus’s Living Network portfolio of on-demand features is a good example of how mobile network operators (MNOs) can augment communication services with third-party APIs, for example to enable the transcription of phone conversations, and give subscribers more reasons to engage by offering the chance to support charitable causes, for example by donating a portion of their monthly data allowance to people in need.
Other operators can get inspiration from some of these services and strategies and may want to adapt them to their countries to differentiate their connectivity services, increase engagement with existing customers and potentially augment their subscriber bases.
