Private LTE: industry players should collaborate to build ecosystems and increase the number of deployments
There are many use cases that require private LTE, but these cannot be delivered unless an ecosystem of devices and customer premises equipment (CPE) is developed. Many players in the telecoms industry (including industry forums, network equipment vendors (NEPs) and mobile network operators (MNOs)) have collaborated over the last 10 years to develop private LTE cellular network technology, but the number of deployments of the necessary infrastructure remains limited.
