SK Telecom is taking an unusual approach to its role as a service provider by trying to become an artificial intelligence (AI) company. This aspiration is backed by strong investment, with more funding for AI than almost any other operator. SK Telecom’s aim is to become a global leader in AI, with a third of its revenue (around USD7 billion) generated from AI by 2030.
