The latest update to Analysys Mason’s Submarine cable database tracker reveals that 482 submarine cables are operational worldwide, with an additional 45 at deployment stage1 and a further 75 that are planned. The USA is a  world leader in submarine cable connectivity, with 15% of all submarine cables making landfall within its borders. 

Analysys Mason’s Submarine cable database provides details on over 650 submarine cables worldwide. The database includes information on submarine cable ownership, equipment suppliers, landing points, length, fibre pairs and capacity.
