Legacy inventory systems will not be able to support all of the new 5G services that require dynamic, cloud-based-infrastructure. Vendors must develop a multi-domain, ‘active inventory’ solution that provides a view of physical, logical and virtual resources and offers real-time data, while allowing for the modular deployment of selected capabilities.
