Strategy report | PPTX and PDF (6 slides) | Network Automation and Orchestration
Operators’ current encryption algorithms are susceptible to attacks by large-scale quantum computers. Quantum key distribution (QKD) technology plays a critical role in providing enhanced network security for new 5G use cases and applications. This necessitates a new software-defined management architecture to ensure the scalability and interoperability of future quantum network deployments.
This report provides:
- an analysis of the challenges and opportunities for telecoms operators that aim to deploy quantum key distribution to strengthen network security
- information and insights that telecoms operators and vendors can draw upon when formulating their quantum networking strategies.
