Serverless computing: reducing computing costs for communications service providers

Strategy report | PPTX and PDF (6 slides) | Cloud Infrastructure Strategies
Serverless computing can offer significant cost advantages for some workloads due to both pay-as-you-go pricing and reduced infrastructure management costs. However, this may not be the case for other workloads; there may not be a significant financial benefit and it may be particularly difficult to transform these applications to run using a serverless architecture. A key challenge for CSPs will be identifying which use cases are the best fit for serverless computing.
Information included in this report
- Insights into the benefits and challenges of adopting serverless computing
- An examination of how CSPs can apply serverless computing to their workloads
- Recommendations for CSPs
